Innovation of flows
We have focused on making it as pleasant an experience as possible for end-users to navigate the new seat map when buying tickets.
Among other things, we have moved away from the conventional colours, green and red, to indicate vacant and occupied seats. Instead, occupied seats are marked in white, giving end-users a more relaxing experience compared to the colour red, which can seem unnecessarily stressful. This is especially relevant for events that are quickly sold out, where end-users have to hurry to get a ticket.
With that said, the goal is still to encourage end-users to make a purchase. Additionally, the use of the colours on the seat map to mark the different ticket types is not fixed, and will be continuously reviewed when we receive new feedback from our user panel.
The design of the new seat map is optimised for mobile, tablet and desktop, giving end-users an equally good experience, regardless of the device they are using.
New tools for organisers
In the live/BACKEND platform you get a number of intuitive tools to easily work with seat maps well as a number of other functions. Among other things, it will be easy to build your own seat maps and possible to edit the seat map, even after tickets go on sale. In addition, the new seat map system will be able to support large events with up to 10,000 seats.
